The 2nd Annual Old Bust Head Benefit 5K once again brought people out from around the community to support Finley’s Green Leap Forward Fund, but it also brought about a new tradition. With a little help from hurricane Joaquin, the race was moved from the 3^rd of October, when it was originally scheduled, to the 31^st. The Halloween race could not have felt more appropriate for a Finley’s Fund event. Finley loved Halloween, and seeing Batman and an Ewok running in her race would definitely have made her smile—so we’ll be keeping the date close to Halloween for future races. This year, the 5K raised $8,186!
